"Inszeniertes Material - Entwicklung und Herstellung einer Stoffkollektion"
Das Hauptanliegen meiner Arbeit steht in der Auseinandersetzung mit dem Material Wolle, der Technik des Filzens, sowie deren Verbindung mit anderen textilen Materialien, die ich im Hinblick auf Transparenz, Flexibilität, Feinheit und Kombinierbarkeit untereinander zu einer neuen Stofflichkeit führen möchte.
Bei der Erarbeitung und Erstellung meiner Stoffkollektion experimentierte ich an den Möglichkeiten, Filz zu einer neuen Transparenz zu führen, die Überlagerungen mit anderen Stoffen zuläßt.
"Inszenierung" steht nicht für die Form der Präsentation, sondern für das Spannungsfeld, welches sich durch die Kombination zweier oder mehrerer textiler Materialien in einem Stoff aufbaut.

The main concern of my work is dealing with the material wool, the technique of frisking, and the association woth other materials that I want to devolop to a new kind of material with regard to transparency, flexibility, and ability of combination between these materials.
Developing and producing a textile collection I experiment with the possibilties of giving felt a new transparency, allowing to overlay it with other matrials.
"Staged" does not stand for the form of presentation but for the tension that is created by the combination of two or more different materials in one textile.
